Notebook is wonderful! It works well and doesnt bleed at all. I've used multiple marker brands; Ohuhu, Arrtx, Copic and all have faired really well! The shimmer on the edges and front are really nice and they look great. Unfortunately my bookmark string came a little frayed and bent but thats not an issue, I usually replace them anyway! The pages are numbered and have small markers to help devide the page evenly. I'm using this as a sketchbook instead of a normal dotted notebook so the markers might be more helpful for those using this as a bullet journal or something similar. So far I'd def reccomend and I'm more than likely going to buy another!
The bleed proof paper by ohuhu is so nice if you use alcohol markers. It’s a must really. I love using this book for the car with my markers and pens. It’s great.
I love this two-pack of journals that have the dotted grids on them. Since I use this type of grid only for my bullet journal, these journals in particular are very luxe and premium, and you can tell immediately by the thick paper quality and the lay-flat design. I am a bit of a journal snob, and I really like these two journals by Ohuhu. The A5 size is my favourite because it has a decent amount of writing room without being too large to carry around in my purse. The current price of $39.99 is a little high for two notebooks, but again, you are paying for a premium product.
The edges being holographic are an amazing touch, and the paper is smooth, thick and truly bleedproof. I can't wait to have fun with my alcohol markers in here and not be limited to water-based markers for my spreads!
The strap looks like it'll handle abuse over the year, and the binding is lay-flat, separated from the spine so that it won't suffer as much damage over a year's (or two!) of use. I can't judge the top of the spine too much, but if I had to compare, I suspect the pleather cardboard will likely tear if you pull this out from the top of the spine often (A similar notebook with a similar spine had this problem before).
I absolutely love the fact that the pages are numbered, and even better, the dots have indicators for 1/3rd and 1/2 page both horizontally and vertically for ease of designing layouts, which saves SO much time when setting spreads up!
I have been bullet journaling for a few years now, and while I no longer use it for daily notes and such, I do still keep a journal for my coloring tracking, and want to expand it to track all my art projects next year.
And this is the journal I'm gonna use for it!!
I was excited to open it as soon as it arrived. I appreciate the care Ohuhu places on their wrapping, as both books came pristine without a dent or scratch. The pleather covers are smooth and have a beautiful holographic design I am loath to cover with stickers, though the back is simpler, besides having the logo and text from Ohuhu at the bottom.
I love this journal so so so much! I’ve been looking for the perfect notebook to draw with my ohuhu markers without them bleeding and I wanted to be able to draw on all pages without having to skip some due to bleeding. This one’s perfect. I don’t love the dots on it but they dont bother me either
It's the perfect journal for acrylics, alcohol marker and ink. Due to the dots I don't feel any pressure of making a perfect painting, but can do some composure sketches, funny pictures or notes.
Absolutely gorgeous. I was so surprised when they revealed the journal - I love it. The black and iridescent match is gorgeous.
Also the paper is great for both paint and alcohol markers 🌟 The first journal that I own which I can confinemently actually draw in with the markers. (And it doesn't cost your soul like other high quality journals ♡ The price is quite good)
I am in _love_ with my new Bujo - I am going to be starting off my new year right with this beautifully bound book. The pages are so thick and luscious, the marker does not show through, and it is perfectly set up! I wish I had some to share!
Beautiful quality! The cover is soft faux leather, inside is thick and lays completely flat. Shipping was fast as always! Very pleased with my purchase and I'm happy I got the double pack!
Absolutely stunning. Such smooth paper. No more scratchy struggles. Its bleed proff as well so the markers just glide on! cannot wait to get this set up for self care, dreams & aspirations. Dots work well with my adhd brain, easy to set out without overwhelm. Highly recommend.

My only tip to users unfamiliar with alcohol markers, is to find a pen/fineliner that will work well with the paper. It is a bit slippery and can smudge easily if the ink takes long to dry.

Exactly what I was looking for, doesn't bleed through no matrer what marker I use, dotted pages and the paper is thick enough for multiple medias, also beautiful design. Will probably stick to this one for a while.
This journal is super cute i love the iridescent designs on it. The pages also shine too and i love that. I like that I can use the string to keep it shut, it feels so professional, the pages are also pretty thick so markers don't bleed through, which is so amazing because I usually always have to worry about that. Overall I just can't wait to use it more.
